Das Castillo de Canena Olivenöl Picual ist ein extra natives, monocultivares Olivenöl aus Spanien. Es duftet kräftig nach frisch geschnittenem Gras, reifer Tomate und Tomatengrün, Artischocke und grüne Banane. Am Gaumen ist dieses mittelfruchtige, grüne Öl erstaunlich sanft, besitzt aber trotzdem eine angenehme Bitterkeit und Schärfe. Kurzum das Castillo de Canena ist ein ausgewogenes, komplexes Olivenöl mit Aromen Tiefe.

Stiftung Warentest bewertete es unter 26 getesteten Olivenölen im Februar 2018 als Sieger in der Kategorie Sensorische Qualität. Auch beim Olio Award des Magazin Der Feinschmecker holte es den Sieg und war das bestbewertete Olivenöl im Wettbewerb. 2020 wurde es von Flos Olei mit der Höchstpunktzahl von 100 Punkten bewertet.
